Introduction

Students enrolled in the welding class are introduced to many various careers in the welding trade. Students are taught SMAW, GMAW, GTAW as well as oxy-fuel and plasma arc cutting. Students are able to have their welds tested with current industry standards for the state welding certificate. Aside from the technical aspect, trade math, blueprint reading, resume writing skills and safety are part of the curriculum.
