ECA Students

The first cohort of Early College Academy (ECA) students completed their first 5 hours of college credits last week.  The ECA program is a cooperative program with Southern Community and Technical College.  The students attend the on-site Southern Campus during the morning hours followed by classes at LCHS in the afternoon.  Each student is on track to earn 48 hours of college credit through the work of this program, along with the opportunity to earn an Associates Degree by the completion of their High School Degree!

On behalf of the LCHS staff and administration, we would like to congratulate the first cohort of nine 11th grade students for setting the bar high and finishing their first semester of college with a cumulative GPA of 4.0!  We look forward to this program growing in the years to come!
